Residency in Munich, Germany- June 22-26, 2022

Munich based CHAKKARs-Moving Interventions invited me on behalf of inDANCE as a scholar/artist/guest choreographer to participate in an international dance symposium, entitled ‘Flowers, Bells and Water- Decolonizing Turns’ in Schwere Reiter, Munich, Germany.

Collaborating on a solo with fellow artist/scholar/activist Sandra Chatterjee was a singular, profound experience, because she is a truly fearless pioneer in Europe.

The residency involved productive interactions with distinguished artist/activist/scholar co-participants: Monika Lilleike, Duduzile Voigts, Tümay Kılınçel, Sabine Sörgel im Gespräch and Melmun Bajarchuu.
