KYOTO CONFERENCE - March 18, 2023

Professor Yoshiaki Takemura had graciously invited me to present my research as part of his beautifully curated international conference, "Indian Diaspora and Indian Performing Arts in the Globe,” organized by National Museum of Ethnology and Kyoto University. It was so wonderful reuniting with dear colleagues and meeting ones as we discussed the complexities of historical and contemporary representations of diasporic identities.
